Barrett Farms is located in Lake County, California, an area conducive for growing
great tasting walnuts. Our farm is certified organic by California Certified Organic
Farmers (CCOF). Poe is the variety of walnuts we grow. The Poe variety was developed
for and in Lake County. It is considered to be the best tasting walnut around.
We also have layer hens. Many of our customers tell us that they are addicted
to By Cracky Its Jackies Farm Fresh Eggs.
Clucky Plucky Poultry is the last stage of the development of Barrett Farms. We now can offer our customers certified organic chicken. The poultry is processed in a California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) licensed poultry processing plant that was built on our farm. There are two State of California licensed Poultry Meat Inspectors at our facility when we are operational. This way we can ensure that our customers get a wholesome product.
