On March 15, 2010, California Secretary of Agriculture, A.G. Kawamura, toured our poultry processing plant. He had the opportunity to see first-hand our farm’s innovative processes to produce organic poultry for consumers and restaurants.
During his tour, we spoke at length with Secretary Kawamura regarding the farm’s high standards of humane handling and harvesting of the birds. It is an important part of the process that all poultry is raised on site. We have carefully designed and fine-tuned the complete processing procedure, from the birds’ delivery through the humane kill and evisceration process, and on to the finished high quality product that our customers enjoy and expect.
